A. THE BATTLE FOR JERICHO Jericho represents the life-long dream of the children of Israel. For more than 400 years their fathers waited for its manifestation. For 40 years, they wandered in the wilderness until the generation who thought they would inherit actually perished. Now, they were at its threshold yet it was locked against them.
